I am totally loving fireflies by owl city at the moment.. AND strangely make the circle beeeegah! as well as Afrikaans and the new one from locnville - South African Music is doing some great stuff!

A crazy Finnish guy told me about a band he likes called Lordi - so I'm checking that out on YouTube.... they are helluva scary looking people! haha check them here

happy birthday miss henny penny!

I have the most amazing friend, and it's her birthday today so I decided to dedicate a post to her... We've known each other for *thinks* about 10 years I'd say, which is the better part of my teenage years and the entirety of my adult life. In that time things have been amazing - truly they have, we've had far more ups than downs, far more laughter than tears, and incredible amounts of trust. She's been there for me whenever I've needed her, whatever the emotion was that I needed to share and she always knows exactly what to say, even when I may not necessarily want to hear it.

So my darling friend, I hope today is fantastic and exceeds every expectation and I hope that your year is but a reflection of your orsmness - because not much can top that! I love you to bits chick!!!

I've just been browsing through blogs and I think this is such a great idea! If and when the time comes for me to have kids one day, I definitely want to get someone to take some pictures. (Mind you writing this now has just freaked me out, but I have a lovely sister-in-law, who is the most incredible photographer ever as far as I'm concerned, so maybe I'll run the idea passed her and bribe her with some lindt dark chocolate *winks* easier when you know the photographer I should imagine) How incredible it must be to look through some pics of all the bits you missed while you were writhing in pain? yes please!

I love Tuesdays, don't you? almost Wednesday which is great - the midweek milestone, and dreaded Monday won't be here again for a while!

Tonight I have to get out that painting and finish ready to give to my darling friend tomorrow for her birthday, I really hope she likes it! Other than that I have to sweep the flat again, building makes so much dust *sobsob* and I need to get used to the new puppy - which I'm not looking forwards to (give me kittens anyday!) Roast chicken and vegetables for dinner and some gametime *whips out the inner nerd* just a typical Tuesday *smiles*
