cool cape town friday

I slept in a bit longer than I should have this morning, but I'm so glad! Look at this pic from my drive to work this morning... the weather was lovely - sunrise just breaking through the mist...I just felt so peaceful and happy - it was brilliant!

This weekend should be a good one - some wine tasting with family tomorrow nice and early, and with a bit of luck mom will help me put a few finishing touches on my bag so that i can post a few more pic's of it - cant wait until all the sharp bits are sorted - my jeans got so snagged yesterday!

I've been mildly productive today, typed out some recipes and added them to my file - so that's about 10 less loose scraps of paper in my life :) and it's made me crave hash browns... I'm sensing the need for a traditional English breakfast for my dinner :)

This is to make up for not blogging yesterday (the reason for which is my self chosen punishment of hammering and punching holes in bottle caps) I've finally begun to make my bag of brutal fruit lids, finally! Ask any of the friends I socialize with and they will tell you it's been a long time coming!

It still needs a lot of work... I need to tidy up the edges where there are bits of sharp wire - and I need to put handles on, as well as some sort of inner... but here is a pic of the work in progress :) I tried to make a heart pattern - please tell me you can see it haha!

*nerd alert* paladin shall be journeying to northrend later, she is officially 68 ^^ whoopwhoop!

Other than that a day of little significance. It's been a very typical Monday *ponders* unfortunately. I have done some sit ups though, and it's official - tea and coffee are now sugar free :D
